One of the first things you'll need before doing any work on your Skorpion is a manual. As far as I'm aware, there is no manual for the Skorpion, but you can download a manual for a Yamaha XTZ 660 (the source of the engine) here: http://87.248.226.217/moto/Yamaha/Yamaha_XTZ660_Service_Manual.pdf Note this is a very big .pdf file so will take a while to download.
Before starting any electrical work, you'll need is a wiring diagram available here (in parts): http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/MZOG/files/Electrical/
(you may need to register)
Or the same files plus the original MZ wiring diagram at: http://www.bottger.de/skorpion_wiring.zip(833kb .zip file)
You can download a parts book for the Skorpion here: http://www.mzskorpion.net/mz_parts_list_web.pdf(3.46MB .pdf file).
A copy of the UK market owners manual is available here:manual(1.76MB .pdf file)
To read the .pdf files you'll need Adobe Reader http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/acrobat/readstep2.html (free download)
